KRX – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does KRX apply T+0 trading and short selling?
As of the go-live date on May 5, 2025, the KRX system does not implement T+0 trading or short selling.
2. Are ATO/ATC orders prioritized over ceiling-price buy orders and floor-price sell orders?
ATO/ATC orders have higher priority than LO orders, except for LO sell at floor or buy at ceiling, where time priority applies.
3. How to get execution priority during ATO/ATC sessions?
Place ceiling-price buy/floor-price sell orders as early as possible. These orders are prioritized by entry time.
Note: ATO and ATC orders are automatically cleared after the session ends.
4. How is the ATO/ATC price displayed on the trading board when there are unmatched limit orders?
For ATO/ATC buy orders: the displayed price is the highest unmatched buy price plus one tick size.
For ATO/ATC sell orders: the displayed price is the lowest unmatched sell price minus one tick size.
5. Any changes to market orders?
On HOSE, the MP (market price) order will be replaced by the MTL order. Any unmatched volume will be converted into a limit order (LO) at ±1 tick from the most recent matched price.
